How To Measure Bay Window

Please see below on how to measure for your bay window!

We need 2 sets of measurements in order to accurately custom-cut your cornice…

Step 1 (actual bay window)

Measure your actual bay window as shown below on the diagram.  We need only three measurements.  Measure from A to B, B to C, and C to D. where the red dots indicate on the diagram.  We need these measurements on the Order Page.  Please note:  Measurement of A and D must be where you want the mount the cornice end brackets.  For example, you may want the brackets to be mounted on the actual window trim, or you may want the brackets to be mounted on the wall outside the trim.

Step 2 (template measurements)

PLEASE NOTE that your printer may scale the image smaller or larger than the actual size. Make sure your printer settings are all set to 100%, this includes your zoom level in Adobe Acrobat (click here for example.) Make sure your computer isn’t trying to scale it to fill the entire page. Some printers will want to do this, so go into your Print Settings and disable this function.

This guide gives us additional measurements to custom-cut the cornice to fit your actual window.  Measurement templates A and D must be where you want to mount the end cornice brackets.  You may want to have this on the window trim or on the wall, this is your choice.
